Furniture Sales Representative
Job Duties:
Assist customers with furniture purchases and educate them on why quality, 100% real leather furniture makes the best long-term furniture investment. We’ll educate you on all the ins and outs of the brands we carry, so you can accurately answer all customer questions and assist them if the need arises.
While you are not busy helping customers, you will help the rest of the team with pricing out custom orders, managing store inventory, monitoring emails/voicemails, answering phones, and helping with other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience in furniture sales, interior design or related field is preferred, but we are happy to train the right candidate.
- A highly-motivated self-starter who takes initiative, learns quickly, has an outgoing personality and is able to get work done with limited supervision.
- A great team player is essential. We’re a small team so there’s a lot to get done.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Basic PC skills are required.
- Ability to work 32 – 36 hours per week with the following schedule
- Tuesday – 9:30AM – 5:30PM
- Wednesday – 9:30AM – 5:30PM
- Friday – 11AM -7PM or 12PM – 8PM
- Saturday – 9:30AM – 5:30PM
- Sunday – 12:30PM – 5PM (except Summers)
Salary & Benefits:
Starts at $700 per week (neg. based on experience).
As our business does better, so will you! Payment is weekly.
